Dear friends,
Since coming to The Bridge / DGT, I've been listening — to staff, to elders, to many of you. And what I keep hearing, underneath all the different conversations, is a shared longing. A sense that God isn't finished with this church. That He has good things in store.
I believe that too.
But before we start talking about where we're going, I think we need to do something first. I think we need to pray — not as individuals scattered across our own quiet times, but together, as a church, in a way that's intentional and unhurried. "
Unless the Lord builds the house, the builders labor in vain. Unless the Lord watches over the city, the guards stand watch in vain." Psalm 127:1
That's what this summer is about.
Starting June 1, I'm inviting you to join us for 100 Days of Prayer.
Here's what I'm asking: find two other people from The Bridge — or let us connect you with two — and commit to meeting together about ten times over the summer. Each session follows a simple one-page guide. You don't need to be an experienced pray-er. You don't need to prepare anything elaborate. You just need to show up, be honest with God and with each other, and see what he does.
That's it. Three people. Ten sessions. One summer.
When we come together in October to close out the 100 days, I believe we're going to have something remarkable — a tapestry of what God has been saying to his people at The Bridge. Stories of answered prayer. A clearer sense of who we are and where he's calling us. A church that has sought God together and is ready for what comes next.
I'm not asking you to have all the answers. I'm just asking you to pray.
If you've been at The Bridge / DGT a long time, your faith and history here matter. If you're newer, your fresh eyes and open heart matter. If you're carrying hope for this church, bring it. If you're carrying questions or even some hurt — bring that too. God can handle all of it. So can we.
This summer is for everyone.
Will you join us?
Sign up below and we'll get you connected with your trio by early June. And if you have questions, I'd love to hear from you personally.
Let's see what God does.
